5J29 split anode magnetron. This device is water cooled, the water flowing round the metal loop.

The split-anode magnetron is in effect a miniature cyclotron, and different from multi-cavity magnetrons. The 5J29 was typically used in AN/APT-4 150W radar jammers.

See also 5J30, 5J32.
