CV108 X-band magnetron
 |
This magnetron measures
195x75x32mm overall. |
The CV108 was produced as an attempt to make a high power X-band magnetron.
It had a block with 12 slot resonators and managed up to 20% efficiency with a 150kW peak input.
Large numbers were produced up to April 1944 in order to keep AIX and H2S radars functioning.
It was replaced by the CV208 and CV209.
