Connection to the collector is made via the diffuser. The valve is designed
for forced air cooling such that the temperature of the edge of the collector
disc does not exceed 100C.
The CV test specifications for the CV109 indicate a maximum power output
of 250W, under test conditions with 7kV to the resonator and collector,
a pulse length of 3µs and PRF of 18,000 pps. |
