This valve measures 124x60mm overall and has a 5 pin B5F base |
| Filament voltage | 6.3V |
| Filament current | 5.4A |
| Single valve in Class B |
| Max anode voltage | 2.5kV |
| Max anode dissipation (anode at 850°C red heat) | 135W |
| Max grid dissipation | 16W |
| Max cathode current | 250mA |
| Max peak cathode current | 1.6A |
| Capacitances |
| Cag | 5.5pF |
| Cgf | 5.5pF |
| Caf | 0.1pF | Characteristics * |
| Mutual conductance | 2.8mA/V |
| Amplification factor | 25 |
*: At Va=2.5kV, Ia=44mA
The maximum permitted base pin temperature is 180°C and max anode seal
temperature is 220°C. The valve must be mounted vertically, either base up or down. When
operating near maximum ratings the valve needs to be cooled with an air flow of up to
5 cubic feet per minute directed to the centre of the valve base, and an anode
terminal connector having a large surface area must be used to keep the anode seal cool.
