Size This valve measures 42x17mm overall and has a B7G base.

This Mullard CV283 is also marked 6AL5W. The CV Register indicates that the CV283 is equivalent to 6AL5, with the 6AL5W being a CV2882.

It is suitable for use as an AM or FM detector.
