The CV574 / 6X5GT/G / VT126B shown on the right has the following information marked on two sides of its box. First it has the JAN markings CRC 6X5 GT/G and VT126B, also carried on the base of the valve. It also carries the UK markings CV574, the AM ref, and LM J. These are carried on the glass of the valve. Referring to the information in K1001 this would appear to indicate a manufacturing date of Dec 1955, yet the Accepted date on the other side of the box is Nov 1944. The J could indicate the valve being made by a company called "Radar Electronic Equipment" (or STC if prior to 1946). Alternatively the J could indicate the valve being made to JAN standards, but in that case the J ought to be before the '/'. In additon the base of the valve carries the code H5E.
